Vietnamese Grilled Pork

Ingredients
2 lbs Pork Loin, cut into ¼ inch slices or small cubes
1 stalk Minced Lemongrass or 3 tbsp Lemongrass Paste
1 Shallot, peeled and minced
1 tbsp Minced Garlic
1 tsp Wholesome Pantry Cane Sugar
1 tbsp Wholesome Pantry Honey
1 tbsp Fish Sauce
3 tbsp Soy Sauce
2 tbsp Oyster Sauce
1 ½ tbsp Bowl & Basket Vegetable Oil
1 tsp Salt
½ tsp Ground Black Pepper
Directions
- Combine pork loin with the rest of the ingredients in a large airtight container or zip lock bag and marinate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- When ready to cook, preheat grill to 375 degrees and be sure to oil the grill grates well.
- Skewer the marinated meat onto metal skewers or bamboo skewers that have been soaked for at least 30 minutes in water.
- Grill skewers for 4 minutes per side, or until caramelized and pork has reached an internal temperature of 145 degrees.
- Serve with any desired accompaniments, such as freshly steamed white rice and stir-fried vegetables.
